The Pat Connolly Tavern is committed to preserving the rich jazz tradition of St. Louis. Our Thursday night jazz sessions have featured local musicians from the bi-state region for the past two years. The Triple T's benefit concert was born out of this effort. 100% of the proceeds from the event will be used to support the work of Peter & Paul Community Services.
The Triple T’s are an emerging Philadelphia jazz trio shifting their trajectory from the traditional jazz genre to a more exploratory sound. With a flair for fusion and a repertoire that includes originals as well as rock/pop/soul arrangements, the music of the Triple T's is accessible and far reaching. Recent studio work will coalesce in 2017 to become their debut CD and will be featured during the benefit.
The concert is made possible by the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis. Proceeds will support the community collabARTive saint louis street soccer programs of Peter & Paul. With the guiding principal of making art and culture accessible to all, the community collabARTive offers art to men and women living in emergency, transitional, or permanent supportive housing owned and operated by Peter & Paul Community Services. No other agency in the St. Louis area offers community arts engagement to homeless men and women.
The St. Louis Roadies utilize street soccer as a sport for social change program at Peter & Paul Community Services. Participants practice weekly and compete locally, nationally and internationally. The experience of being a part of a team empowers players to make positive improvements in their lives. Two-thirds of those who participate leave homelessness behind for good.
